Vacuum unit for elastomeric-thermoplastic compound production

'A key elastomeric-thermoplastic compound manufacturer located Italy installed a new performant centralized vacuum system for 9 extruders. Thanks the highly experienced Gieffe Systems engineers, it was possible to replace an old and inefficient liquid ring vacuum pump system with a turnkey dry solution. The new and cost effective vacuum system is now equipped with two screw pumps in parallel, able to reach up to 80 mbar(a) vacuum and a maximum capacity of 1.600 m³/h.
